Team ID Medical Raises £896 for Local Hospital Charities
Yesterday (Sunday 9 March), eleven employees from Milton Keynes-based healthcare recruiter ID Medical, including director David Newton, completed the Milton Keynes Half Marathon to raise funds for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity and the Luton and Dunstable Charitable Fund.
Through online donations via ID Medical’s JustGiving pages in addition to funds raised on the day of the Marathon, £896 in total was raised with the total being split accordingly between the charities. Leo the Lion from Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, who represents Charity of the Year Leo’s Appeal, plus ID Medical’s fruitful characters supported the running team and provided entertainment for many spectators.
Fundraising manager at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Vanessa Holmes joined Team ID Medical at the starting line and said, “ID Medical has made such a fantastic effort in the lead up to the Milton Keynes Half Marathon and showed great dedication on the day. ID Medical is a valued member of Team Leo and we look forward to working with them on many future fundraising events!”
