We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Permanent Consultant Histopathologist - General Histopathology.

Experience/Skills Required: Full and Specialist GMC registration with a current licence to practise, or eligibility for Specialist Registration within 6 months of interview.
Essential
.FRCPath or evidence of equivalent training and experience.
.Appropriate training in Histopathology and diagnostic cytology.
.Appropriate experience and skills in all aspects of Cellular Pathology relevant to a DGH service.
.Experience in surgical histopathology, particularly Breast Pathology.
.Experience in diagnostic cytology, including non-gynaecological cytology and reporting fine needle aspirates (FNAs).
.Lead for Breast Pathology and experience in a screening programme.
Desirable
.Participation in providing autopsy services for the Coroner and Hospital Service.
Particularly Interested In
.Breast Pathology, including breast screening.
.Skin/Dermatopathology.
.General Histopathology.
