We are expanding our network of Consultant Histopathologists to support a growing pipeline of digital reporting work across NHS and independent healthcare providers.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity, enabling consultants to undertake review and reporting activity via secure digital pathology systems, supporting departments with additional capacity where required.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the review and reporting of digital histopathology cases, working remotely in line with agreed turnaround times and clinical governance frameworks. Case volumes can vary, with flexibility to support both ad hoc and more consistent reporting activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and report on digital histopathology cases
• Deliver work within agreed turnaround times
• Ensure reporting aligns with NHS standards and best practice
• Maintain accurate documentation within digital systems

What We’re Looking For

• GMC-registered Consultant Histopathologist with a license to practice
• FRCPath (or equivalent)
• Experience in diagnostic reporting
• Comfortable working remotely and/or using digital pathology platforms
