We have an exciting new opportunity for a Consultant Breast Radiologist

Experience/Skills Required:This area is Imaging’s largest unit, with screening and symptomatic services sharing the same site. They are a busy Oncoplastic unit, diagnosing and treating approximately 700 breast cancers a year and seeking support within the symptomatic Radiology service.

Essential clinical requirements:
1. Participation in 2WW clinics
2. Participation in cold symptomatic (problem solving, further biopsy etc.)
3. Surveillance mammogram reporting

Desired requirements:
1. Preparation and participation in MDT cases.
2. CT breast staging reporting
3. Breast MRI reporting

The person must be GMC registered with FRCR in radiology. Preference would also be for them to be on the specialist register, but as it’s a locum post we would consider equivalent experience from abroad.
