ID Medical's Turnaround Service provides a unique service for hospitals and care homes which have an immediate need to implement improvements to patient care in order to meet CQC regulatory standards.
IDMTS recognises the common challenges presented to hospitals and care homes following a CQC inspection. The immediate need to react to a poor rating often causes resources to be further stretched, taking management and frontline staff away from regular day to day activity, which ultimately further impacts patient care.
IDMTS provides expertise, reactive support and resources in key areas of healthcare management and clinical practice with the sole focus of working with teams to embed seamlessly into existing management operations and infrastructure, to develop solutions to implement change and enable improvements in patient care, to maximise service potential and to achieve good or outstanding results in all CQC domains. We work with clients to drive service progression; achieve sustained and sustainable standards of patient safety and care; performance and efficiency; culture change to support best practice and learning in alliance with budgetary constraints.

The IDMTS team is an extremely skilled, vastly experienced, knowledgeable and profoundly driven group of healthcare professionals from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds with a proven record for the delivery of outstanding operation success and clinical best practice. Our team has been working as turnaround specialists in their respective fields and are well known for their performance at national level. They have come together under the ID Medical banner to establish this unique service, to work flexibly with CQC-registered hospitals and care homes, which are seeking reactive support following a CQC inspection, where they have been graded as inadequate or requires improvement in some or all domains.
At our initial consultation, we will work with the client to understand how we can provide support; taking on board the complexities of the presenting issues, timescales, the needs of the patient group, the team and the client’s budgetary constraints.
Following agreement, the IDMTS team will commence a primary review audit based on the findings of the recent CQC inspection and provide the client with a solution based action plan and covering report, with recommendations to support a successful turnaround.
We then agree with the client on how our partnership will move forward to consider short, medium or long term involvement to support the implementation and embedding of service objectives, to achieve sustained and sustainable results.
