Moving to a new country, job and culture, and away from friends and family is potentially very daunting and worrying for candidates. We have developed a comprehensive and effective support infrastructure to significantly reduce the risk of candidate drop-out both prior to and after relocation. We provide candidates with on-site and remote support and allocate each nurse an experienced named Settlement Consultant from job offer until they are fully settled into their new role.
Our commitment spans the full candidate journey and includes 24/7 contact as we understand the value of sustained and person-centric practical and pastoral support to their successful settlement and retention.
Recognising that obtaining the required IELTS / OET Score to obtain eligibility for NMC registration is often the biggest hurdle for international nurses, ID Medical has made significant in country investment to develop English language training programmes via the ID Medical school that can help our nurses achieve this competency in the shortest possible timeframe.
We offer up to 6x different programmes for IELTS and OET which are recommended based on the candidates initial competency established when they initially register. This long term and on-going investment allows us to supply each of our clients with up to 30x IELTS / OET clearer nurses each month.
For the International nurses sourced for University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), ID Medical celebrated with them at Coombe Abbey with a very British Cream Tea and a visit from the Abbey’s Monk who regaled the many stories of ghosts which are said to reside there.
ID Medical’s International division has supported its UHCW with international nurse recruitment since 2016. Its skilfully targeted campaign comprised of a number of phases, including face to face recruitment in the Philippines as well as recruitment of NMC Pinned European nurses to provide immediate impact to the Trust nursing recruitment deficits. The specialist campaign was commissioned to support the Trust in addressing the areas that have been hard to fill nationally by targeting nurses across a wide range of specialties. The objective of this initiative was designed to assist UHCW in further developing their staffing infrastructure in the face of increased demand for services, whilst ultimately improving upon the standard of patient care provided to the local community and beyond.
