Our CEO
Deenu Patel
Deenu is ID Medical’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. An award-winning, multi-discipline global healthcare recruiter, he has been with the company for over 20 years, managing the company’s evolution from a start-up, to the global business it is today.
Whilst Deenu’s background in finance has given him a great head for numbers, his real passion is putting people at the heart of everything he and the company does. Together, with awards received across multiple categories including innovation and compliance, his greatest achievement is the highly experienced team he has built to support the needs of the healthcare industry and all those who take care of our health every day.
Our Leadership Team
David Newton
Managing Director
David Newton joined ID Medical some 15 years ago, shortly after ID Medical’s inception. David instantly established a strong affinity with this fledgling business and was excited about the opportunity to grow and develop a fast-moving dynamic organisation, whilst doing something that genuinely helps change people’s lives for the better.
Today, ID Medical has over 600 employees globally, and David continues his responsibilities in this market-leading organisation, whilst taking a keen interest in establishing and developing all of ID Medical’s individual service lines, diversifying the service portfolio.
Jon Bradbury
Finance Director
Jon joined ID Medical as Finance Director in 2019. His responsibilities include strategic planning and analysis, tax, treasury and financial reporting as well as ensuring that the processes that support the operations of the business are both efficient and compliant.
Prior to joining ID Medical, Jon worked in senior finance roles across a range of sectors including manufacturing, aviation and logistics.
He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Durham and is a Chartered Management Accountant.
Outside of work when he’s not running around after three children, Jon enjoys combining his love of physical activity and the outdoors with hobbies that include running, cycling, hiking and skiing.
Jenny Bartlett
Marketing Director
Jenny Bartlett joined ID Medical in March 2021 to develop the Brand, Marketing Strategy, Communications and Operations.
Jenny’s career started in Medical Healthcare and then after moving on to run a B2B Marketing Agency for several years, she switched back to client-side, transferring her expertise across multiple industries including telecoms, software, automotive and travel, both B2B and B2C.
Joining ID Medical, Jenny has returned to her first love – healthcare, bringing her passion for brand, customer experience excellence and digital automation to the group.
Outside work, Jenny loves adventurous travel, activities and spending time with her growing family.
Stefan Thygesen
Workforce Solutions Director
With a background in major account management, business consultancy and training & development, Stefan joined ID Medical in 2008 as Head of Learning and Organisational Development, and in 2018, his role evolved to Workforce Solutions Director.
13 years on, his role at ID Medical is still focused on change and spans a number of different areas including Workforce Solutions, Transformation and Learning & Organisational Development.
With a passion for people and process, he is a business change specialist, with deep experience in leading programmes in learning, technology, innovation and strategy.
When he isn’t cringing at speaking about himself in the third person, Stefan is a loving father of five who enjoys health and fitness, studying human behaviour and playing the occasional round of golf.
Mary De’Arth
HR Director
Mary has worked extensively leading People functions in fast growth, dynamic businesses as well as running wide-scale transformation projects.
With expertise in both global corporate and start-up organisations, Mary joined ID Medical in July, to support business growth by ensuring we are putting people at the centre of all we do.
In her spare time Mary is a keen runner and recently ran a marathon in aid of a children’s cancer charity.
Gus Brimson
Director, Doctors
With over 25 years’ experience in Learning & Development, Service, Sales and Business Management, Gus joined in December 2010 as our Client Services Manager to help grow our reputation across the NHS. Gus was then appointed as Operations Manager in May 2012 before being welcomed onto the Board of Directors in May 2017.
Responsible for Doctors Acute, Mental Health, Primary Care & International Business Divisions, Gus’ passion is people and the delivery of service excellence.
